Each morning on the west coast of Mauritius, we meet wild dolphins who approach the coast to socialize, relax and play. It is home to two species of dolphins: bottlenose dolphins and spinner dolphins. We usually see either, except if you are very lucky and meet both species, which happens sometimes!
We love these marine creatures and our purpose is to lead our guests through this life experience; passion and respect are our priorities. The crew will start the excursion with their briefing and give you details on: safety, respectful dolphin interaction, trip schedule, etc…
We encourage an early start for a peaceful and respectful interaction with the dolphins : 6:15 during the winter season 5:30 during the summer season. We watch and swim with them for about 60mins to 90mins. Then we sail to our favourite snorkeling in the natural aquarium to see tropical marine life: clams, fish, sea stars, corals… The last stop on the trip will be the world-famous Crystal Rock in the White Lagoon. A fragile corallian formation in the middle of crystalline water.
The departure arrival is from our office at L’Estuaire in Black River (refer to location point).
To ensure your comfort, all snorkelling equipment will be provided on board, and homemade banana bread will be served in the morning.
Pssst… Stay calm positive, the dolphins can feel your energy as they have cerebral emotional ratios very close to us, humans!
➞ Please note that the number of dolphins on site and the behavior of the animals change on a day-to-day basis. We don’t control those two things because they’re wild and they can’t predict encounters beforehand. Our team adjusts and makes every effort to offer a memorable interaction.
Add your personal underwater photos and videos with dolphins, taken by our photography guides using the latest GoPro cameras. Please note that the final outcome of the photos and videos will be subject to the interaction with the dolphin, your swimming skills, and the overall sea conditions. Once reviewed and approved, all files will be provided to you on an SD card at the end of the trip or sent via WeTransfer.
Maximum Capacity per boat is 8 people. You can reserve the boat (price remains the same for up to 4 guests) and specify any additional people to each boat.

Nous avons choisi l’excursion dauphin et baleine et ça restera de loin notre meilleur souvenir de notre séjour à Maurice. Roberto et Thomas ont été géniaux du début à la fin en commençant par un briefing pour nous présenter le déroulement de la journée ainsi qu’une présentation des différents mammifères. Nous avons vu dauphins, baleines à bosses, cachalots et même des globicéphales. Le fait d’être accompagné par un nageur (Thomas) est rassurant. Un grand merci à Vitamin Sea et plus particulièrement à Roberto notre capitaine et Thomas notre accompagnateur nageur, 2 passionnés.
Accueil super professionnel, tout en étant très convivial, excursions sensationnelles, avec des skippers au top (encore merci à Brice et Thomas !), flexibles sur les dates et surtout un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel ! Je recommande à 100% La sécurité est respectée et le respect de l’environnement et des dauphins est de rigueur.
Nous avons passés un superbe moment avec Vitamin Sea. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’attitude respectueuse de nos hôtes envers les baleines. Nous avons pu voir que ce n’était pas le cas de toutes les embarcations autour de nous. Nous vous encourageons à continuer comme ça. Merci !

C’était génial et je recommande totalement cette agence. Le personnel à bord est bienveillant, offre le petit dej et café, jus etc… Ils prennent le temps de tout nous montrer, les photos sont réussies, nous repartons directement avec.
Exceptionnel ! Départ au lever du soleil, avec nos 2 guides très sympathiques. Les bateaux sont superbes et totalement privatisés pour chaque groupe. Les guides sont rodés et trouvent très rapidement les dauphins (nous avons vu les deux sortes qui sont présents au large de l'île). Voir des dauphins avec le soleil qui se lève c'est juste magique. Ensuite nous avons pu nous mettre à l'eau et les voir de plus prêt. En prime nous avons rencontré 2 tortues énormes et 2 raies. Plus chanceux que ça, c'est difficile 🐬 Nous avons terminé la sortie de 4h dans le lagon pour aller admirer les poissons tropicaux (un vrai aquarium). Les guides nous ont offert le petit dej pour terminer la balade. Je me demandais si Vitamine Sea serait à la hauteur de leur compte Instagram, ils sont bien au dessus 💙
